Getting started. Your price quote and free trial
Who is your service best suited for?
Our service is the best choice for commercial jewelry photographers, jewelry business owners, and individuals selling jewelry online. We build long term relationships with our clients and help them prepare their inventory for sale delivering consistent great quality jewelry photos.
Can I try your service for free?
Yes you can. We'll perform editing of up to 3 jewelry photos free of charge for our new customers. No credit card required. The only information we ask is your contact e-mail so we can deliver you completed photos and/or work on any special requirements you may have. You can evaluate our completed editing samples in our Portfolio section.
How do I get a quote and submit my images for a free trial?
To submit your jewelry photos for trial retouching please visit our Free Trial section. Please include any special requirements you may have (dimensions, file size, composition, special features), edited samples for us to better understand your needs and your contact information (e-mail is enough in most cases). Usually we'll deliver completed photos and your personalized price quote in 24 hours or less. You may also submit your trial photos to contact@jetretouch.com if you prefer.
Can I include a completed sample with my order to show you what I want?
Absolutely. A completed sample (before-and-after image) is a great way to describe how you want us to perform editing of your photos.
Do you have minimum order requirements?
We do not have strict minimum order size requirements but at least 10 images per order is recommended. Most of our customers send us much higher quantities. 30-50 items is normally a good batch size to process.
Sending and Receiving Photos
How do I submit my images for editing?
You can submit your photos for editing to contact@jetretouch.com. E-mail providers limit the size of attachment you may send with your email. As of today Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail allow you to send and receive messages up to 25 megabytes in size. Please check with your e-mail provider on attachment size limitations. How do I send/receive my images in large quantities or if I want to use your service on regular basis?
We'll provide you with free FTP Account on our server when we deliver your completed free trial images. There is no even need to request it. It's a free service we provide to all our customers for jewelry photography exchange. The server is located on our premises so any source photography you submit is sent directly to our processing team.
Turnarond time and Quality Control
What's your turnaround time?
Usually we send out most completed jobs within 24-48 hours. Larger batches or jobs where more complex retouching is required may take a little longer to process. Turnaround time may also increase at peak times during holiday season. All Jobs accepted are processed and delivered on normal US business days.
What if I want to do some minor corrections to my retouched images?
If you want to make any adjustments to your retouched photos, you may request additional revisions anytime. We'll work with you and make every effort to deliver the result you expect.
Do you only work with professional photographers?
No. We do not limit our customer base to only professional photographers. We accept photos from anyone. Request your free trial to make sure you are happy with the quality of edited photos. You understand your needs better than anyone else, so you may never need an expensive photographer for your product imaging needs.
Pricing and Payment
How do I pay for your services?
We'll send a PayPal invoice to your contact e-mail address. All payments are securely processed by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account. Credit card payments are accepted.
When do I have to pay?
Usually we send invoices AFTER we retouch and deliver your photos back to you. In some cases when high quantity or complexity retouching is required we may request a full or partial upfront payment.
Can I pay weekly or monthly?
Yes. Once you start sending us work on a regular basis, we can combine a number of jobs in one payment or arrange a weekly or monthly payment schedule. Please contact us at contact@jetretouch.com to request this option.
Why the price is higher for larger images?
Larger images require much more attention to details and tedious retouching to produce excellent results. It takes more time and effort of our best team members. All our retouching quotes are based on your jewelry item complexity, quality, and pixel size of original photo.
Technical Details
What file types do you accept?
We accept JPEG, TIFF, RAW files, and PSD images for processing. Have other file type? Please submit it. If we can't process it we'll contact you right away.
What will be the file type and size of my retouched images?
We'll save your retouched photos with a size, name, and type you request.
What if I want to get multiple image sizes completed (big image and a thumbnail for my web site) ?
Please let us know if you want thumbnails prepared for your edited photos. This additional feature is absolutely free as long as your thumbnails have the same aspect ratio as your edited big images.
Copyright and Image Use
Will you claim the copyright for edited photos?
No. We do not claim any copyright for edited photos.
Will my images be used by your service for commercial purposes?
We will never sell or share your images with third parties for commercial purposes use. We may use the images for the purposes of our service quality demonstration on jetretouch.com website only. We'll ask you for permission before we showcase your photography on our website.
